🇺🇸JOHN POSEY – Master Acting Coach 🎬 Based in Los Angeles, John Posey is a veteran actor with an extensive career in film, television, and theatre. He’s also the proud father of actors Jesse and Tyler Posey. Tyler starred opposite Jennifer Lopez in Maid in Manhattan at just 10 years old and later became a household name as Scott McCall in MTV’s global hit Teen Wolf. Jesse’s breakout role was as Chris Perez in Netflix’s acclaimed series Selena. As an actor, John has built a robust career, with credits that include How to Get Away with Murder, Criminal Minds, 24, Boston Legal, Teen Wolf, NCIS, Scorpion, E.R., Seinfeld, Cheers, Chicago Hope, and many more. Over 8 weeks, you’ll explore: - Scene Study for Film, TV, and Stage - Understanding the arc of the story - Building your character’s truth - Deepening your on-screen and stage relationships - Authentic listening and connection - How to honour the writer’s words and bring them to life - Acting in the spaces between the lines - Using human behaviour to fill the frame CLASS FORMAT These are ongoing training classes, offered in 8-week blocks. Just like athletes, actors need consistent training to strengthen their creative muscles. The more you train, the sharper your instincts and the bolder your choices become.
