We are thrilled to welcome the wonderful Kendra Castleberry to The Hollywood Initiative for the very first time. With over 20 years of industry experience, Kendra brings a thoughtful, actor-focused approach to the room. Her past casting credits include CSI: Vegas, The Watchful Eye, Grimm, Castle, Zoo, Take Two, and the indie feature Peace in the Valley (Tribeca Film Festival). MUST BE +18 YEARS LOS ANGELES: Date: Friday 6th March 2026 Time: 7:00pm Location: 7551 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA, 90046 PRICE: $55.00 USD LESSON PLAN: These topics will be discussed during class: • The casting process from script to shooting • How episodic TV auditions vary from auditions for pilots, film or theatre • The basics of script analysis (who, what, where, when, why?) • The importance of watching “TV” as homework and how to gain insight from it for your auditions • Feeling and conveying confidence in your audition • The role of the casting director - A selection of sides will be sent out to actors 48 hours prior to class. - Actors will work on sides 1-on-1 with Kendra but in front of the entire class. - Thoughtful and specific feedback will be given to each actor and selected sections run again to incorporate educational notes. - There will also be a time for Q&A, allowing actors to get clarity on anything they saw in class or get specific answers on topics of their choosing. If you do not send over your headshot, we cannot provide you with a scene. DUE TO THE NATURE AND EXCLUSIVITY OF THIS CLASS, THERE IS A NO REFUND POLICY. In the event you have to cancel, we do not offer refunds, however we do offer credits. This credit will only be honoured if we fill your existing spot.
