This Course guides you step-by-step from first contact to final execution of your work: How To Prepare, Self-Taping, Virtual & In-Person Auditions & Interviews. This course presents the highest professional standards & demands. Acting/Audition/Self-Tape 8 Class Course Unique Three-Stage-Structure Step-By-Step Process: Learning the Material Learn what to do the moment you receive an appointment. Be guided through a simple, clear, step-by-step process for approaching and learning the material. Read and Break Down a scene together in a large group, then be place in Breakout Rooms to “learn the material - NOT just memorize lines!” Learn the most valuable way to use your time and energy: best questions to ask; how to approach each scene quickly & most effectively, making it your own. Virtual Audition Each actor will have a Virtual Audition and receive notes & adjustments on acting, as well as the technical elements of their set-up: lighting, background, sound, eye-line, framing, etc. Learn how to apply your preparation as well as how to take direction, making adjustments on the spot. Self-Tape Submission and Review Each actor will submit a self-tape of the scene. We view playbacks in class as a group for evaluation on acting, as well as technical elements of the self-tape (lighting, sound, background, framing, eye lines, labelling files, and more.) This three-stage structure is repeated with a new scene for the second half. DUE TO THE NATURE AND EXCLUSIVITY OF THIS CLASS THERE IS A NO REFUND POLICY.

Cancellation Policy

We do not offer refunds. Our guests are extremely busy and in the event of a cancellation by them or by you, you will be issued a THI credit. This will never expire, and you can use at your next booking. Please email us if you can’t attend the workshop at info@thehollywoodinitiative.com. If you do not email us before the workshop we can not issue you a credit. Each workshop will state the conditions and terms.
